Low Income Tickets at Bedford Esquires

For the past 18 months, local promoters The Roar Club and Club Biscuit have been offering a percentage of tickets to all of their shows at Esquires for just £5 to people on a low income or struggling with increases in the cost of living. This project has been funded by a grant from the Arts Council's 'Supporting Grassroots Music' fund. Some of the shows for which cheap tickets were available included Teenage Fanclub, Throwing Muses, BC Camplight, The Smyths, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, The Horrors, Tom Meighan and many more. These tickets were referred to as 'low income tickets'.
