Introduction

This is your chance to apply for funding to run a social action project - something that helps others, brings people together, tackles an issue you care about, or makes life better for people in Westminster. It’s all about your voice, your idea, and your community. You don’t need to be an expert - we just want to hear what your idea is, why it matters to you, and how you’d like to make it happen.

A few key things to know:
• You must be 16-25 living, studying, working regularly attend an activity in Westminster (e.g. attend a youth club once a week).
• Your project must take place in Westminster
• You can apply for up to £500 to bring your idea to life.

It explains what we’re looking for, what you can apply for, and how to give your project the best chance of being funded.

It also explains the two ways you can apply for this funding:

1 - By filling in this application form; or
2 - By sending in a short video.

Before you begin
This application form doesn't save your progress, so you'll need to complete and submit your answers in one go. We recommend writing your answers somewhere else first, then copying them into this form when you are ready.

You can use the Word template here to draft your answers.

Please note within Section 2 (questions 16-20) and Section 3 (question 26) have word limits. You will need to stick to this word limits as panel members will only read up to the word limit. You can use online word counter sites or word tools to support with checking your word count.

You will need to download the project budget template, complete it and upload it in Section 4. You can download the project budget template.

Applying by video
If you’re applying by video, you still need to complete parts of this applicationform. Please only complete all questions in:

• Section 1 - About You (questions 1-14)
• Section 4 - Funding request and upload project budget (questions 28 & 29)
• Section 5 - Upload your video - we recommend uploading your video to a cloud service e.g. Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or as an unlisted YouTube video and share the link to the video (question 30)
• Section 6 - Before you submit (questions 31 & 32)

You don’t need to fill in Sections 2 or 3 as you’ll cover those in your video.

The deadline for completing this form is 5pm on 30th September 2026.
