Intro Page Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM)!The oral examiner nomination process includes the following three steps: Nominee completes Nomination Form Colleague completes Recommendation Form ABEM Board member (current or previous) provides Endorsement Examiners are appointed to a three-year term by the Board of Directors at its summer meeting each year. Newly appointed examiners are notified in writing following the meeting and are asked to participate in one or more exams the following year.
