Expression of Interest

The Palliative Care Statewide Clinical Network Steering Committee provides oversight and support to the Palliative Care Statewide Clinical Network in identifying and addressing key system priorities.

The Steering Committee will be constructed to reflect the necessary knowledge, experience and skills to support the Statewide Clinical Network to fulfil its responsibilities. The Steering Committee will be selected by the Palliative Care Network Clinical Lead and the Executive Director, Clinical Partnerships, Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health (CEIH). All applicants will be notified of the outcome.

Successful applicants will be expected to submit a Confidentiality Agreement and Conflict of Interest Declaration (under development) prior to commencing on the committee.

Successful applicants will also be required to submit a letter of support from their organisation to attend meetings and participate in other network activities during working hours.

  • Attend a minimum of 75% of meetings and forums scheduled by the Steering Committee chair

  • Adhere to the principles and responsibilities outlined in the Terms of Reference
