INTERNSHIP CORRECTIONAL ACADEMY

The goal of the Rhode Island Department of Corrections (RIDOC) Internship Program is to provide interns with practical experience in a variety of career options in a correctional environment and encourage interns to apply theoretical knowledge from their studies to real-world situations. RIDOC will contribute to fostering the understanding of correctional operations, policies, and rehabilitative practices while reducing Rhode Island’s recidivism rate.
