#BeTheChange Pinwheels for Prevention- Child Abuse Awareness Month

At Children's Advocacy Network, we believe all children deserve a great childhood. We know
you do, too!

April is Child Abuse Awareness Month, and we are asking you to help us Be The Change by
participating in Pinwheels for Prevention.

The pinwheel is a symbol of childhood innocence, and a reminder that all children are entitled to
health, happiness and a bright future.

Communities across the country will show support for this in April by displaying pinwheels at public buildings, businesses and homes.
You can show your commitment to ending child abuse by setting up a display at your location. Outside displays include a “pinwheel garden” surrounding a yard sign. Another option is an interior display with a sign and pinwheels in a small decorative planter.

CAN staff and volunteers will provide the materials and install the displays. Just give us permission and we’ll do all the work! We ALL play a part in promoting the well-being of children. Join us as we rally in April to protect and nurture our community’s most precious resource!
