What is Peer Respite?

● An additional resource for those seeking increased support around their mental health, including support during extreme distress or a crisis

● Could be used as an alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospital stay

● Guests stay for one to seven days in a home-like environment

● Guests are the experts on themselves

● Everything is voluntary

● Staff will be there 24/7

● All staff members have lived experience

Please help us create peer respite in our region by completing this brief survey.

We are interested in feedback from those who might use peer respite themselves, and feedback from those who support anyone that may use peer respite. This might include those who have experienced psychiatric hospitalization, or other traditional mental health services during a crisis.
