The Korean Society of Surgical Oncology is offering an opportunity to a member of SSO to attend the KSSO Annual Meeting (SISSO) and participate in a post-meeting visit to a renowned Korean medical center. The selected surgical oncologist can choose a specific institution specializing in their preferred specialties among candidate hospitals and be able to establish a new relationship. They will also have the opportunity to attend KSSO annual meeting and present their own subject.

To be considered for this opportunity, submit your application by Monday, December 15, 2025.
Eligible Criteria
The individuals must meet the following criteria in order to apply for the observership
program.
1. Applicants must be a member of a partner society, SSO.
2. Applicants should be 45 years old or younger.
3. Applicants must have a sincere attitude and a potential to be become a leading surgical
oncologist.
4. Applicants must be able to travel to Republic of Korea during the announced period.
Award
The elected candidate will receive the following:
1. $3,000 USD will be provided to assist with travel arrangements for the period of observership.
2. KSSO mentorship & observership at a specialized Korean medical center.
3. Opportunity to present at the KSSO annual meeting.
4. Complimentary registration for the annual meeting, including an invitation to the
international reception.
5. One year of complimentary KSSO membership.

An opportunity to attend KSSO annual meeting, which takes place on February 6-7,
2026 in Seoul, Korea.
