2024 Award Nominations
The Fannin County Chamber of Commerce & CVB is requesting 2024 Award Nominations through year-end 2024. Award winners will be presented at the annual Chamber Banquet, scheduled for March 15, 2025. We are asking for nominations for four different awards, noted below. We have also shared with you award winners from last year.
Chamber Member of the Year - Individual (2023 winner - Peter Knutzen, Old Toccoa Farm)
Community Service Award - Business (2023 winner - Danny Melman and Michelle Moran of Lit'l Pond Hospitality)
Heart of the Community - Non-profit (2023 winner - Impact 100 Fannin)
Honorary Lifetime Member - Retiring member (2023 winner - Jan Hackett)
An example of why an individual/business could receive an award: Lit'l Pond Hospitality has made significant contribution to the community over the years. They have been a driving force for the restaurant scene in Blue Ridge, having started over seven incredible restaurants. During the downtown Blue Ridge fire in Nov. 2023, they opened their doors to first responders and provided shelter and food. They were an integral part of making sure the affected businesses were supported.
