Introduction to safeguarding for activity staff
Gain an understanding of safeguarding, the steps language centres should be taking to protect children and your role in keeping children safe when you are working as an activity leader or supervisor of students under the age of 18 at a UK language centre. This is a free module from Accreditation UK, the quality assurance scheme for UK language centres.
The course should only take about 25 minutes to complete.

A self-access module introducing the topic of safeguarding in language centres. You’ll gain an overall understanding of the issues which can arise for children learning English in the UK and the adults who teach or care for them. Scenarios relevant to your role will help you apply good safeguarding practices and know what to do if you have any concerns about a child at your centre.
