How are computer areas organized in your library?
We have one area where we provide computers for all library users
We have some computers restricted to just child or teen usage, but overflow from those areas can use our regular public computers
We have a computer area restricted to just ages 18+, but we have other areas that are not 18+ that are more flexible
We have computer areas specifically for children, teens, and adults and we require patrons to use the area specific to their age

How do you manage filtering the internet at your library?
All computers are filtered and we are CIPA compliant
Computers are filtered by area. Children and teen computers are filtered, but our 18+ lab is not filtered
Users are filtered by age. Minors are automatically filtered regardless of what computer they use while adults are not filtered.

How do you allow minors (under 18) access to library computers?
Minors only have access to library computers if they have a valid library card & parents explicitly give permission for their child to use the computer. Parents can deny permission and our system prevents those minors from access to library computers even with a library card.

We handout guest passes upon request
