Nihi Dine’é Bá Wellness Center Department 10k Run and Half Marathon
Klagetoh Chapter House –Saturday, May 11, 2024



The 10K Run will take place at 7:30am beginning and ending at Klagetoh Chapter House. The out-and-back course is on a dirt road and heads west 3.10 miles on Greasewood Rd. There are awards for top 10 individuals (overall).
This event will NOT be timed. There is no age limit for this race. This event is free.


The Half Marathon will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the start/finish area at Klagetoh Chapter House. Both the 10k and Half Marathon races will start at the same time. The out-and-back course is on a dirt road and heads west 6.55 miles on Greasewood Rd. The Half Marathon and the 10k share the same course. Runners who expect to compete for overall award should start in the front of the mass. There are awards for top 10 individuals (overall). Participants MUST be 16 years or older to participate in the Half Marathon. The course cut-off time requires that all runners reach the turnaround point in 2 hours. If a runner has not reached the turnaround point by the cut-off time, they will be shuttled back to the start/finish line via the event shuttle vehicle. The distance of the running route is 13.1 miles round trip.
Open Registration will take place the day of the event at Klagetoh Chapter House from 6:30am-7:30am. We encourage participants to be onsite early to register for this event. The first 300 people who register for the event (both the 10k and Half Marathon combined) will receive a t-shirt.

Saturday’s Race Day Parking
Our parking team will help you get parked and situated for your big event! Please follow the directions of the parking team.

Race Day Logistics

Results & Timing – Timing for the Half-Marathon will be done MANUALLY. NO CHIP timing for this event. If you are wanting an accurate time for your race we encourage you to use your GPS or smart watch. All manual timers start time at the gun time (7:30am).
The Course and Course Support – Aid stations will be available at the start line (Chapter House) and on the Half Marathon course. There will be water and snacks at each aid stations along the course. Porta potties will only be available at the start line. Please be aware of vehicles on the road. All runners will be directed to stay on the LEFT side of the road.
The Finish Line

Post-Race Awards – We will give awards at the finish line. Top 10 Half Marathon finishers will receive a well-earned medal when they finish. Top 10 10k finishers will receive a medal when they finish. Results will be displayed at the post-survey tent. All awards are based on gun time. Any awards that are not presented will be mailed or can be picked up at Nihi Dine’é Bá Wellness Center.

ALL runners MUST complete a POST-SURVEY in order to receive their metal and T-shirt.
