The ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture is the largest gathering of landscape architects and allied professionals in the world with more than 6,000 attendees—all coming together to learn, celebrate, build relationships, and strengthen friendships in our incredibly varied professional community. With more than 240+ exhibitors showcasing products and services exclusively for landscape architects, ASLA is seeking to learn about your environmentally responsible practices while at the conference. We will use public transportation or car-share rather than single occupancy vehicles while at the Conference.

ENERGY CONSERVATION

We will use either LED or compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs).

All our displays, monitors, and booth lighting will be powered down each night after show/setup hours. If equipment cannot be shut down, it will be put into sleep mode during non-EXPO hours.

We do not have lighting in our booth.

WASTE

Limiting waste is a way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Please let us know how your company will reduce its carbon footprint at the ASLA EXPO in each of the following areas:

We will reuse display elements from past EXPOs or will reuse current display elements at future EXPOs.

We will ensure graphics are designed for reuse by avoiding dates and specific information.

Potential booth donations to local charities will be communicated in advance. Examples being pre-packaged foods, plants, furniture, pens, bags, and notepads.

Our booth has an education component that highlights the company’s sustainability initiatives.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE
