Local Impact Note Survey for House File 3356: Sale or Transfer of a Public Safety Vehicle

You are being contacted on behalf of the Minnesota Legislative Budget Office (LBO) regarding a local impact note request made by the Minnesota Legislature. Local impact notes are governed by Minnesota Statutes 3.986, 3.987, and 3.988. House File 3356 is a bill requiring the removal of certain equipment and identifying insignia from emergency vehicles sold to the public. Your survey responses will be used by the LBO to estimate the fiscal effects of the proposed legislation on local units of government.

“Public safety vehicle” is defined in Minnesota Statutes 169.011, subdivision 3.
