Harbor Transit Customer Survey - CASPR Units

In January of 2023 Harbor Transit installed a CASPR unit on every bus in its fleet. CASPR stands for Continuous Air and Surface Pathogen Reduction. The CASPR unit runs continuously and destroys 99.9% of pathogens both in the air and on surfaces, including COVID-19 and other viruses, bacteria, mold, and odors. Each CASPR unit is located at the front of the bus behind the driver’s seat near the bus ceiling.
