The PHM 2026 Planning Committee for the 2026 Pediatric Hospital Medicine Conference is seeking reviewers for content submissions, research abstracts and clinical conundrums. The Pediatric Hospital Medicine Conference, which will be held at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown, August 6-9, 2026 in Kansas City, MO, is jointly sponsored by the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM), the Academic Pediatric Association (APA), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the AAP Section on Hospital Medicine (SOHM). Reviewers will assist in determining the content presented at the 2026 Pediatric Hospital Medicine Conference. You are encouraged to apply for multiple review opportunities.
Content Reviewer
Content reviewers will review submitted content proposals which include Workshops, Mini-Plenaries and Quick Hits. Each reviewer will be assigned a set number of content proposals to review, the number will vary based upon the number of proposals submitted. Content reviews will take place from mid-January to early-February.
The deadline to apply to be a Content Reviewer is Friday, January 9, 2026.
Research Abstract Reviewer
Research Abstract reviewers will review, and score submitted abstracts. Each reviewer will be assigned a set number of research abstracts to review, the number will vary based upon the number of research abstracts submitted. Research Abstract reviews will take place in late February and early March. Reviewers will have 2-3 weeks to submit their reviews.

Clinical Conundrums Reviewer
Clinical Conundrums reviewers will review, and score submitted conundrums. Each reviewer will be assigned a set number of Clinical Conundrums to review, the number will vary based upon the number of conundrums submitted. Clinical Conundrums reviews will take place in late February and early March. Reviewers will have 2-3 weeks to submit their reviews.
