Pathological Demand Avoidance at School

We know school can be a challenging environment for individuals with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). So we want to hear from you what would be helpful. What would make school just a little bit easier for you or your child?

This survey is anonymous and will only be used to develop resources and training materials for Autism NZ.
What would you want teachers and school staff to know about PDA?
What aspects of school are difficult with regard to PDA?
e.g. being required to take particular subjects?
Obviously some subjects will always be required, and there will always be demands at school, but it is helpful to know where those demands lie.
