Saskatoon United Soccer Club is looking for individuals who are interested in getting involved at the Board level and helping shape the future of our Club. Our Board of Directors plays an important role in providing leadership and direction for Saskatoon United Soccer Club. The Board helps set the priorities for the Club, oversees its overall direction and finances, and makes sure the organization is being run responsibly and IN THE BEST INTEREST OF ALL OUR MEMBERS.
Being a Director is about looking at the bigger picture. The Board is not responsible for managing the Club's day-to-day programs or operations. Instead, Directors work together to provide direction, ask important questions, support good decision-making and make sure the Club remains strong and sustainable for the future.
Who We Are Looking For?
We are interested in hearing from people with a variety of backgrounds and experiences. You do not need to have previous Board experience or be a soccer expert to contribute. We are looking for people who care about our Club and want to contribute to its continued growth.
What Does a Director Do?
Directors are responsible for working together to provide overall leadership and oversight for the Club.
What Kind of Commitment Is Involved?
Joining the Board is a commitment of time and energy. Directors are expected to attend Board meetings, review information before meetings, participate in discussions and take part in committees or projects when needed. We understand that everyone has different schedules and responsibilities. Our goal is to have a Board made up of people who are willing to contribute their time, experience and ideas in a meaningful way.
