Campaign Survey #3: Engaging Volunteer Leaders |
Welcome
No matter how skilled a hospital’s fundraisers may be, its campaign cannot reach its potential without the partnership of three key groups: volunteer leaders, hospital or health system executives, and clinicians.
We receive more questions about board engagement in campaigns than that of any other group. First, we'll ask you some questions about how you engage with your volunteer leaders outside of campaign, then focus on the campaign period.
We receive more questions about board engagement in campaigns than that of any other group. First, we'll ask you some questions about how you engage with your volunteer leaders outside of campaign, then focus on the campaign period.
We’ll ask you about key campaign activities, how likely volunteer leaders would be to take them, and how their engagement might affect your campaign's success.
We’ll also pose some of the specific questions you’ve asked, such as:
- Are foundations successfully engaging the next generation of volunteers?
- Are organizations still using campaign cabinets – or asking their existing volunteer leaders to step up?
- Do most hospitals set giving thresholds for board members in (or out of) campaign?
Results from this survey will help you to both meaningfully adapt your campaign strategy and to motivate your volunteer leaders.
This survey is due on Friday, June 6th.
