Application Process
Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) interns at Manitoba Blue Cross have been trained by Rainbow Resource Centre on offering 2SLGBTQ+ (Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning +) affirming therapeutic practices.
In this partnership, interns are offering free short-term relational therapy to clients from September 2026 to June 2027.
What is relational therapy?
Relational therapy involves more than one person in the therapy process and focuses on the dynamics between them. It can address a wide range of relationships, including romantic or intimate partnerships, family, parent-child relationships, siblings, extended family, and friendships.
Timeline
· This intake form opens August 4th and closes on August 11th, 2026
· Applicants can expect to hear from Manitoba Blue Cross by mid to late September 2026.
