CERT training covers important basic skills that are valuable to know in a disaster when emergency services are not available. With training and practice, and by working as a team, you will be able to protect yourself and maximize your capability to help for the greatest number of people during and after a disaster. Participants will learn about:

• Psychological First Aid
• Fire Safety and Utility Controls
• Light Search and Rescue
• Terrorism / Active Killer Events

Course Dates: July 20-22, 2026
Monday July 20, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Tuesday July 21, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday July 22, 8:00am - 12:00pm
Students must attend all classes & units of this course to receive the state certificate.
Audience: Anyone who has a personal or professional interest in strengthening their readiness to respond to a disaster. Participants must be 19 years or older to attend this course.

Cost: The course is free to attend. Personal expenses (lodging, meals, mileage, or wages) will not be reimbursed. Participants are responsible for obtaining authorization from their employer before registering for this course.
