National Childhood Network in partnership with Children’s Books Ireland and the Department of Children, Disability and Equality are updating our recommended reading lists to help educators choose excellent books to read with children.
This short survey is designed for the National Childhood Network to help identify the most useful book themes for early childhood educators. This aligns with Ireland’s Aistear Framework themes to ensure it supports both national standards and holistic learning and with the DEI Charter and Guidelines which supports an anti-bias approach and celebrates diversity, addresses similarities and differences and challenges stereotypes.
We want to ensure every child has access to books that spark their imagination and support their growth. We would appreciate if you could please take 2 minutes to tell us which themes you need most for your setting.
