Hui No‘eau Scholarship Application

Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center awards scholarships to students who are passionate about the arts and do not have the financial means to attend art classes. Please see the eligibility requirements below and request the type of scholarship that you would prefer from the list of art classes offered by Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center. Class listings may be found at huinoeau.com or in the Hui’s Create catalog (please call 808-572-6560 to request a copy). ***IMPORTANT: Once you have completed this form, please call the Registrar at (808) 572-6560 ext. 21 to let her know the form has been submitted online.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
• Students and their families must show proof of financial need with a copy of a 1040 section of the most recent tax return.
• Students must be willing to write a thank you note to acknowledge donors who support the Hui scholarship fund at the end of their class.
• For youth scholarships, students must be of ages 2.5 - 17

The information you provide will be confidential. Depending on available funds, scholarship recipients may only be awarded one scholarship per year so that we may serve more applicants. Scholarships may or may not include supply fees. If awarded a scholarship, students are expected to formally confirm registration and any payment with the Registrar. Priority will be give to complete applications received no less than 2 weeks prior to class start-date.

Scholarships are made possible by generous donations to Hui Noʻeau Visual Arts Center. We ask scholarship recipients to write a thank you letter upon completion of class so that we may share your gratitude with the donors who recognize the importance of the visual arts. Please send a thank you letter to the address above. For further information, please call the Registrar at 572-6560 ext. 21.
