At the end of this session, participants will be able to:‎
  • Describe the influence of older age at the time of trauma on clinical outcomes after spinal cord injury; 
  • Recognize the effects of older age at the time of trauma on the neuroinflammatory response and axonal survival within the spinal cord after injury;
  • Identify the potential impact of older on the economic burden of traumatic spinal cord injury.
