Silent Voices is an initiative of Alcohol Action Ireland. We are seeking written contributions from individuals who have experienced growing up with parental alcohol misuse. These stories may appear on the Shared Voices section of our website. Excerpts may be shared on social media and may be illustrated through animation to highlight the issues involved. We may also use the stories to draw attention to the Silent Voices campaign and seek support for it.
As part of our advocacy work we are also interested in analysing the content of the stories which feature on the Shared Voices section of our website. This research will help us to better understand some of the issues that arise for children who have lived/are living with parental alcohol misuse.
