MARs 2016 Spring Survey

Question Title

* 1. What day of the week do you think we should hold MARs Fun Runs this spring

Question Title

* 2. What time do you think we should hold the fun runs

Question Title

* 3. MARs is trying to build its programming by starting to offer some track type events.  With this in mind we plan to alternate 5K fun runs on Hunter's Bay Trail with track races of distances varying from 1500-5000m.  Are you willing to give this a try?

Question Title

* 4. We have been using an iPhone/iPad program to time and post results for our fun runs.  Is it important to you that we continue doing this?

Question Title

* 5. Would you be interested in helping run the Fun Runs by being responsible for timing a few times over the course of the spring/summer.  The total time commitment would be 15 minutes prior to fun run starting and then the duration of the fun run, so a total of less than an hour.  In addition, you would need a 5 minute tutorial on how to use the program (very easy) and use of an iPad.

Question Title

* 6. The proposed pricing for Fun Runs is free to competitive MARs members, $2 for noncompetitive members and $5 for nonmembers.  Do you support this fee structure?

Question Title

* 7. I think we should run this program

Question Title

* 8. MARs is offering an Evening Cross Country Running Camp August 22-26 inclusive from 5-8 pm for adult and youth runners (grade 8 or older).  The cost is $120 which includes the camp, a water bottle, a light meal each night after the run and an ebook on XC running.  Registration is through the Town of Huntsville at the Summit Center and the program is advertised in the spring Lesisure Activity Guide, currently available online here.  Are you interested in attending:

Question Title

* 9. Are you interested in helping to run the camp, which we hope to limit to 30 runners (would consider larger numbers if had appropriate help)

Question Title

* 10. Please provide any other comments you think might help us with programming and the club
