The Middle East will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - GCC countries (to include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates), Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Palestine Territories and Turkey

Central and South Asia will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan 

North Africa will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Mauritania

Open to all retailers operating in the aforementioned geographies, successful entries will demonstrate that technology plays an ever-increasing part in contemporary retail and will prove that they are making technology an integral element of their retail brand.

In this digital world, it is increasingly important to embrace technology that enhances the physical customer experience and also helps form a bridge with the brand’s online proposition.

Judges are looking for a forward-thinking, innovative approach to a new technology integration. Examples include digital projects and applications in the store, digital signage, POS systems, AR, VR, interactive and multi-touch solutions, and more.
Whether it’s the big, medium or small solution, judges will be looking for evidence of commercial success and customer acceptance.
