From introductions to plays to last-minute exam revision, Student Masterclasses provide a unique, tailored experience for your students, in their very own classroom. Choose a play and tell us what you want to focus on, and a Bell Shakespeare artist will visit your school to get even your most reluctant students up on their feet, investigating the play from the inside out.

A Players in-school performance (schools only)

Players In-school performances bring Shakespeare to life in schools across Australia. Interspersing original text with modern commentary, four dynamic actors illuminate the classic plays, breaking down any preconceived notions your students might have of what Shakespeare can be. The plays in 2017 include The Wonderful World of Will (Yr3-6), Shakespeare is Dead (Yr7-9), Romeo and Juliet: Rewind (Yr 7-10) and Macbeth: The Rehearsal (Yr 9-11).

Hearts In A Row
Hearts In A Row provides individuals from socio-economically disadvantaged schools and charitable groups with the opportunity to see a Bell Shakespeare theatre production. With a complimentary ticket, programme, soft drink and a pre-show talk, they’re given insight into the work of Shakespeare and the experience ahead – the opportunity to see a theatre performance featuring some of Australia’s most talented theatre professionals.(Maximum 30 per group)
