The City of Charlotte wants your input on the trail marker for the Cross Charlotte Trail!
The City is partnering with Mecklenburg County to advance the 26-mile Cross Charlotte Trail (XCLT). The urban trail will stretch from Pineville, through Center City, the UNC Charlotte campus and all the way to the Cabarrus County line. Once complete, approximately 80,000 residents and 98,000 jobs will be located within a half mile of the trail, connecting neighborhoods, employment centers and other destinations.
The City is working with a graphic design firm to develop an image for the XCLT way-finding signage to identify the trail on the Mecklenburg County Greenway system. Staff wants to know which image you want to see as you travel on the trail!

The voting period will begin Friday, August 12 and run until Friday, August 26 at 5 p.m. The XCLT trail marker image will be announced on Twitter (@CharlotteDOT) and posted on charlottenc.gov/XCLT. You may also visit this website for more information about the XCLT.
