The Chamber's Choice Awards are presented annually to recipients who have demonstrated extraordinary standards of professional excellence, vision, and dedication in the District of Columbia business community. Awards will be presented at the 2025 Chamber Choice Awards & Gala, Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the National Building Museum, 401 F Street NW, Washington, DC 20001.
Nominations close Friday, July 18, 2025 at 5pm ET.
You can submit a nomination on behalf of yourself. If you wish to make nominations for more than one category, please fill out the appropriate information for each nominee. Nominations will not be considered without an official and complete entry form for each submission.
CATEGORIES
Business of the Year
This award is presented to the company that has, in the past year, demonstrated the quality and positive results of business excellence. The company should have proven financial success, fiscal responsibility, visible community involvement, and a professional and productive working environment for all employees. *Note: Nominees in this category must be Chamber members.
Business Leader of the Year
This award is presented to the individual who has demonstrated throughout the year the exceptional qualities that are needed in managing a successful business or organization. The awardee should exemplify excellent leadership qualities, have a proven record of business accomplishments, and demonstrate community engagement as a priority. *Note: Nominees in this category must be Chamber members.
Economic Impact Award
This award is presented to an individual, company or project that has a significant impact on the economic vitality of the District of Columbia. The award winner(s) will have demonstrated any or all of the following: significant job creation, revitalization of a blighted area of the city, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) building or development, employment of District residents, significant tax revenue for the city or diversification of the District's economic base. *Note: Nominees in this category do not need to be Chamber members.
Community Impact Award
This award is presented to a non-profit organization that has demonstrated a strong record of community involvement. This organization has a demonstrable commitment to providing and being involved with programs and services that are relevant to the business community. *Note: Nominees in this category do not need to be Chamber members.
