Thomas Lim Seng Wah is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in proprietary trading. Holding a Diploma in Investments from the Institute of Banking and Finance, Thomas embarked on his trading journey as an Assistant Dealer with the National Bank of Kuwait Treasury Singapore in January 1995. Over the course of more than 20 years, he advanced through various floor trader roles with prominent trading houses, including Keppel Futures, Tullets and Tokyo, and EDF and Man. In December 1999, Thomas established his first investment firm, initially named TMS (SGX Trader) Pte Ltd, later rebranded as Equity Capital Proprietary Traders. He has been the Managing Director of this firm since its inception.
In 2012, Equity Capital Investment Consultants (Shanghai) Ltd, a wholly owned foreign enterprise of EC (Proprietary Traders) Pte Ltd, was established.
