The Destination Imagination Study

Thank you for participating in Destination Imagination’s longitudinal study. As a participant in the Destination Imagination program, your feedback is vital in helping us learn about the skills, knowledge and experiences you’ve developed in our program year after year. The results of our study may also contribute to the creativity research literature. In fact, this brief survey includes questions adapted from research on creative self-beliefs (Beghetto, 2006, 2009, 2016). By participating in our study, you will be involved in something extremely important to Destination Imagination and the future of our program.

Please note that this study optional and is completely anonymous, so we encourage you to answer all of the questions honestly and to the best of your abilities. To further protect your privacy, we do not collect data such as email or IP addresses. You may stop participating in the study at any time. However, any information previously entered will have been aggregated and cannot be deleted.

To participate in this survey, you will need to create a Permanent Anonymous ID Number. Similar to a username, you will use this ID Number each time you log in and participate in this study.

Your ID Number should include the day and month you were born, followed by your 2-letter state abbreviation and your first initial. For example, if you were born on January 1 and you live in New Jersey and your name is Mary, your code would be: 0101NJM.
If you reside outside of the U.S., please include the first two letters of your country name, such as PO for Poland.

Please be sure to use the same ID Number throughout your participation in this survey, even if you relocate to a different state or country.
