Reweaving Support - Partner Form

Information gathering for collaboration building.

Thanks for stepping up to remake our social safety net in Manitoba. This is a form to get some information from you as a partner in the Reweaving Support Project. Woman Healing For Change is hosting this project to build a movement and our social safety net including childcare, CFS, income security, housing security and support to prevent and intervene in gender based violence and abuse. We envision a social safety net that is trauma informed, evidence based, employs healthy public policy approaches, while meeting the our new realities of COVID, deep structural inequities and climate change impacts.

For a strong movement to achieve our goals we need to know the assets and preferences of movement partners. Then we can share the responsibility for creating strong action plans.

The Reweaving Support project goal is solidarity between stakeholders and building the collaborative capacity to work together for a shared vision and action. The funding from Status of Women Canada for this project requires a GBA+ lens to analyse the gaps and limitations of our current social safety net.
