All Leadership Team members must complete SYN Induction training before commencing the program. You are welcome to apply if you are not yet a SYN member and intend to complete Induction training at SYN in order to join the program. Sign up for Induction training here.
All applicants must be interviewed. We cannot consider an applicant for the program if we are unable to conduct an interview.
Written Applications will only be accepted through this Survey Monkey. Video applications will also be accepted (see instructions below).
You will be contacted shortly after the submission of your application to arrange an interview.
WRITTEN QUESTIONS
To save you the trouble of clicking through this survey, here are the main questions to the written components of the application:
In 150 words or less, why are you a good candidate for your indicated roles? (If you have indicated more than one role, please write 150 words for each role)
In 100 words or less, tell us about any relevant experience you have from outside SYN (if any).
In 100 words or less, tell us about your previous involvement with SYN (if any). If none, tell us why you joined SYN.
In dot point form, please detail some ideas you have for your positions of interest.
In 150 words or less, explain your goal(s) and why participating in the program will help you get closer to achieving these goal(s). These could be career goals or personal goals.
VIDEO APPLICATION
If you’d like to send us a video application, please view the questions at the beginning of the survey and email us a link to a recorded video of your responses via a file-sharing service (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive). Please ensure videos are no longer than 5 minutes. Email your link to Jake at community@syn.org.au.
Please note: You will need a valid volunteer Working with Children check to participate in the 2022 Leadership Team. However, you do not need this at the time of application.
