This survey is intended to improve understanding of the priorities and preferences of people living with paralysis for better development of Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology. Understanding priorities and preferences of potential users helps ensure BCI developers can make choices in the design of BCI systems that provide the best experience and most value to users.

This survey is intended for people with severe upper limb impairments resulting from spinal cord injury (SCI). It may be completed by a caregiver, family member, or friend if such an individual is in a position to answer the survey with the potential BCI user.

It is expected that the survey will take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete.
