The World Congress
The World Congress opens its doors to the world every three years. This time, it is Canada’s turn to welcome the global prevention community to Toronto.  The 2020 World Congress theme ‘Prevention in the Connected Age: Global solutions to achieve safe and healthy work for all” highlights the power of diversity and how different cultures and backgrounds can come together to overcome challenges.
 
The World Congress will be a vibrant and interactive opportunity for the global prevention community to connect with ideas, people, knowledge and creative solutions.  More information about the Congress is available on the website and in the First Programme Announcement
 
The Session Coordinator 
 
This application relates to a unique opportunity to be considered for a Session Coordinator - a role designed to support Organizers with the design and delivery of close to 40 in-person sessions at the World Congress.  Information about the Session Coordinator role, commitment, requirements and benefits are outlined in a document entitled World Congress 2020 Session Coordinators Overview .

A complete application includes a reference letter and a letter of support from your organization which can be uploaded to the on-line application form.  Sample letters are included in the Overview Document. Once you have submitted a complete application, you will be contacted via email to schedule a phone interview. This process is now closed, however, we are still accepting applications on a case by case basis.
