Application for PFP Worksite

Thank you for your interest in providing a short – term fellowship for an emerging leader as a part of the Professional Fellows Program. 

PFP (Professional Fellows Program) and YSEALI (Young South East Asian Leaders Initiative) are sponsored by the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Fellows are competitively selected, are fluent in English, and have solid academic and professional qualifications.

Fellows receive a stipend, health benefit plan coverage, mentoring, and support throughout the entire period of their fellowship from American Councils and the State Department. There is no cost to a host organization.

* 9. In addition to meaningful work placements, American Councils will place each Fellow with a host family for the duration of his/her program. The goal of this is to give the Fellow a better understanding of the United States. Is anyone at your worksite interested in hosting the Fellow for the duration of his/her stay in the area?
