Workplace Safety Awards Nomination
Nominations: Member companies may nominate their own company or another company for consideration by the Awards Committee. Nominees shall describe their record of compliance with workplace regulations as a baseline for evaluation. Performance above this baseline is judged as outstanding. A concise statement detailing the reasons for the nomination and a completed nomination form must accompany each nomination. We ask that all nominations be no longer than 5 pages. Supplemental photos and infographics are welcome.
Workplace Safety Awards: Nominees shall be in compliance with established workplace safety requirements at the time of selection. Only Tennessee facilities of member companies of the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce and Industry are eligible. The awards committee shall be guided in the selection process by the overall workplace safety results exhibited by the nominee. Capital investments, safety training hours and process improvements considered for awards should have been completed in the past eighteen months. The committee may consider facility operational policy and practices and capital investment dedicated to work-site safety.
There is also an individual award. The Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry "Lifetime Excellence" Award, will be presented to an individual who has demonstrated commitment, leadership and outstanding achievements in the areas of workplace safety for the manufacturing industry throughout their career.
