Summer School - Working safely- understanding your rights

Tuesday 16th September 2025 7.00pm - 8.30pm online

This course for all PDA members will focus on helping you know more why its important to look after your health, safety and welfare. It will explore a range of strategies to help participants develop a proactive approach to looking after their health and safety.

The session will also examine what an employers duties are towards employee pharmacists in relation to their health, safety and welfare. Including how you can use PDA collective structures to challenge, raise and resolve health and safety concerns.

Learning outcomes

• Understand why it is important to look after your health, safety and welfare as a pharmacist
• Explore some of the challenges of living and working in a healthy way
• Look at some individual and collective strategies to help keep you safe and healthy
