WORKFORCE OF THE FUTURE - AASLD Survey

The liver field is facing an anticipated shortfall of more than 50% in available hepatology care over the next decade.

To better understand how this challenge can be addressed, AASLD has conducted in-depth interviews with clinicians across the patient journey - from hepatologists and APPs through to PCPs and other specialist clinicians. These discussions identified a range of potential opportunities to expand access to care.

This survey is the next step: it aims to test and prioritize those opportunities with a broad range of clinical stakeholder groups.
