Wootton Community Survey |
Introduction
The Wootton Community Plan was created in 2008 to give us a clear community vision and agreed community priorities for the future. The Community Plan assists in raising our profile with the local council and helps us to lobby the council for local needs. For example, Coolongolook, with their plan has been successful in getting the oval fenced and new toilets built that will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
With an outdated plan, the merger of councils and the wonderful influx of new residents to the area we are keen to update the plan to outline the key priority action areas for us as a community to work on.
A Community Workshop will be held on Saturday, September 17 at 2pm in the Wootton Hall to discuss and reflect on the results of the survey and to input to the plan. Everyone is encouraged to attend. The results of this survey will be made available on the Wootton website prior to the workshop.
Please encourage your friends, neighbours, visitors and fellow community members to complete and return a survey. The more surveys we receive, the more our plan will represent our community.
THE SURVEY WILL CLOSE WEDNESDAY AUGUST 31, 2016
