Witness Grant 2016-17 Information
Dear Faith Formation Leaders, Catholic School Administrators, Faith Formation Commission Chairpersons, and Catholic School Board Chairpersons,
Through funds made available from the Archbishop Kucera Education Grant, the Archdiocese of Dubuque invites you to accept our gift of a free subscription to The Witness for your teachers and catechists.
Through funds made available from the Archbishop Kucera Education Grant, the Archdiocese of Dubuque invites you to accept our gift of a free subscription to The Witness for your teachers and catechists.
For 2016/17 each site will have the opportunity to sign up for one of two options - please remember this is a "site" choice and cannot be divided between individuals. The two choices are:
1. Receiving The Witness mail in a paper format - this option also includes accessing the online version.
2. Receiving The Witness only through an "online" access code - no hardcopy/paper edition will be mailed.
This grant is our gift to you to help you with the on-going development of your teachers and catechists. It is our hope that you would be able to use The Witness as a faith formation inservice tool. We will also continue the every other week "Disciples Corner" with thoughtful reflections and additional resource listing. An updated list of “Best Practices” on ways to use The Witness will be provided in the fall.
This grant is not intended to provide free subscriptions to the parishioners. It is specifically designed for those who are formally involved in your faith formation programs and schools as catechists and teachers. To save on funds, all subscriptions requested need to be sent to the same address.
We ask all faith formation programs and Catholic schools to opt-in or opt-out of this great opportunity for your parishes and schools. This allows us to contact those sites we have not heard from so everyone has an opportunity to participate if they so desire.
