Hello and welcome. This study is being conducted by Milan Nayee, a researcher at Brunel University from the Department of Psychology. The Department requires that all persons who participate in psychology studies give their written consent to do so. During this study you may be asked to make some judgements about faces, and also asked some questions about your attitudes and your background.
We are not aware of any risks or disadvantages to taking part in this study. Participation is entirely voluntary, all responses will be kept strictly confidential, and you are free to withdraw at any time without giving a reason. None of the information will be used to identify you personally, and for the questions about your background, you will have to option to select “Prefer not to say”.
At the end of the study, you will be provided with further information about its purpose, and some links to further relevant information, in case you are interested in finding out more. The survey was created by Milan Nayee at the Department of Psychology, Brunel University, and was reviewed by the appropriate ethics board.
