Coping strategies training to promote occupational engagement and recovery

This one-day practical workshop is intended for occupational therapists and students in occupational therapy programs who wish to learn how to use a coping strategies program in their clinical practice and occupational therapy assistants who could implement coping strategies training under the guidance of an occupational therapist. Lecture, experiential components and group discussions will be utilized to assist participants in understanding the Adult Learning Model (Kolb, 1984), the clinical reasoning for selecting a prepared module, and how to facilitate coping strategies modules with clients.

The CAOT Member early bird price is typically $200-275 for this one-day workshop.
