Where? The Office, Rue d'Arlon 80, 1040 Brussels
In the context of the European Commission’s annual Sustainable Energy Week, and given the valuable role cooling and refrigeration plays in today's society, the European Partnership for Energy and Environment (EPEE) would like to take the opportunity, together with CoolingEU, a dedicated platform gathering stakeholders involved in the cooling and refrigeration industry, to discuss the challenges faced by these sectors in the energy transition.
Didier Coulomb will kick off the event with a short opening speech, which will be followed by a series of discussions with policy makers, academics and business representatives. We will draw inspiration from the world café method – where participants are encouraged to debate selected topics in small groups, switching tables every 15-20 minutes to contribute on several chosen themes:
• Closing technological gaps through research and innovation • Encouraging global roll-out of the most efficient technologies • Fostering integrated system design
