To be considered for 2027 Illinois Superintendent of the Year, all candidates must complete this application by September 9, 2026. Each candidate is judged on the following criteria: student success, teacher success, district success, community success, and involvement with IASA.
Candidates are expected to answer each question in the application. The application does not have to be completed in one sitting. Candidates can begin the application, close the window, and return later. However, you must access the survey using the same link, computer, and web browser. While progress is generally saved, this cannot be guaranteed. We recommend drafting your responses in a separate document before copying and pasting them into the survey.
