Whilst we plan to maintain a very personal comment from Junior School Classroom Teachers and Senior School Tutors that captures the essence of a student’s engagement in School life, we are considering replacing the course-based comment with more focused individual statements that summarise specific Areas for Improvement and Recommended Parent Actions. Parents ought to understand that comments are the most time-consuming component of Academic Reports. Given that much of that which a teacher writes in a comment can be stated in other ways in the Report, ways that facilitate more specific engagement, how attached to course-based comments are you?.'
I don’t value the comments.
I like comments, however I can see the case for change and support it.
I am very attached to comments and would not like to see them go.

Finally, parents will be interested to know that we are considering moving towards continuous reporting in the years to come, negating the need for Semester Reports and providing information at parents’ fingertips when they need it.
