Simulationist Needs Assessment

This is a self-assessment to determine where you may have gaps in your simulation knowledge, skills, or behaviors. Upon completion of this survey, your results (responses) will be displayed, and you can also email yourself the results.

Review your responses and reflect on areas of need for Professional Development and determine 3 conference workshops you want to attend to fill your identified gaps. Each of the survey questions correlate to 1 of the 5 workshops presented at the conference. For example, Workshop #1 corresponds to content from Question #1, Workshop #2 corresponds to content from Question #2, and so forth.

Your responses are confidential and will be used in aggregate by the conference presenters when discussing the SONAT and SENAT tools.

When considering a new simulation educational activity, I begin with a needs assessment.
I am able to write measurable objectives that are leveled to my learners.
I am able to align the simulation modality with the learning objectives.
I can design a scenario or case that provides context for the simulation experience.
I can develop the appropriate level of fidelity to support the simulation experience.
