LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS MODULE

RITACONSULT TM, being non-affiliated, self-funds its projects and it is highly dependent on your citizens’ activity. Some of our surveys are continuing from the previous periods of time. Some of them are completely new ones. We, though, have surveys going all the time. And you participate in them all the time as well. It’s a two way project, so thank you for your part of the job.

Welcome for participation in the
LOCAL CITIZENS’ VOICE SURVEY 2020
LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS MODULE
We would like to ask you some questions about your elected Member of Parliament (Quebec and Canada). Members of parliament are responsible for representing their constituents. Faced with problems or questions involving the provincial government and its departments, constituents often appeal for help to their MPs. MPs have come to devote major portions of their time to providing assistance to individual constituents. MPs also represent their constituents in many ways in the House of Commons: convey their constituents’ views during debates and suggest policy initiatives on their behalf; take part in the legislative process, thus giving their constituents at least an indirect role in the shaping of important policies affecting their lives; make a short statement on any topic; raise matters during question period in the hope of influencing a minister to alter or initiate policies more in keeping with the views of voters.

The information you give us is strictly confidential. It is used only in summarized form with the answers of all other participants. Our research enterprise is unrelated to the use of personal data for profiling, databases and other such purposes.

There are no right and wrong answers, but only personal opinions, observations and evaluations. Please answer the questions according to your level of experience, your personal competence and your awareness. If you are hesitant or have an opinion based on third party evaluations or rumours, please do not hesitate to answer "I don't know".
