About Us: Founded in 2022, Watts & Whiskey is a Cat3/4/5 cycling team with riders in PA, NJ, NY, and DE. Starting as a team of 5 crit racers, we have continued to grow our team with like-minded cyclists who are hungry to compete and eager to push their limits. As we prepare for the 2025 season, we are excited to be expanding our team and including members to support our goal – more watts and more whiskey!
What’s different for 2025?
For the past 3 years, Watts & Whiskey has remained focused solely on criterium racing and supporting those riders that competed in +5 races per season. Through these years we have developed a core foundation that we are now excited to expand by supporting more disciplines of racing, no matter how many races you do. In 2025, we will be supporting riders in road, criterium, and gravel with some riders even competing in triathlons and track events.
Who should join?
Our team truly stands for 2 things: Watts- Putting in the hard work; and Whiskey- Having a fun time doing it! As most of our team is ‘past our prime’ and have no ambitions of having a pro-career, we do it because we love going fast and pushing ourselves to get better. A few key things that we look for are:
- Safe riders that understand we have to work tomorrow
- Great people that enjoy hanging out after a rider
- People who strive in a team environment
- Cyclists that are self-dedicated
- Team players that are always looking out for each other
